This project was born as a Yan personal reinterpretation of the official Xiaomi 17 Pro Max commercial. Inspired by the original campaign, designer Yan decided to recreate it with his own artistic vision exploring form, rhythm, and emotion through a fresh visual language.
I developed the entire audio component, including both original composition and sound design. The result is a cohesive sonic experience that enhances the movement, detail, and atmosphere of the visuals, while preserving the elegance and precision that define the concept.
Into the Sound
The music was composed specifically to reflect the youthful and dynamic spirit of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The track combines a steady, modern kick with an open, bright synth and a deep, confident bass line that grounds the rhythm with substance. Each sound was designed to convey both freshness and reliability, echoing the balance between innovation and solidity that defines the product.
Synchronized sound effects follow the visual movements with precision, enhancing the tactile feel of materials and transitions on screen. The piece evolves fluidly, maintaining clarity and energy throughout, and closes with a smooth automated low-pass filter, a subtle gesture that leaves a sense of completion and control.
